Terms of Service

Last updated 13 September 2026

These terms cover use of Sports (the "Service"), a session and court allocation platform used by racquet-sports clubs. By using a club's join link, organiser console, or the owner dashboard, you agree to these terms.

Who this covers

A player joining a session through a club's public link or QR code (no account needed), a player who separately creates a player account (see below), an organiser running a session desk with a club-wide PIN, and a club owner, manager, or front-desk staff member with a dashboard account. Each club that runs on the Service is responsible for its own members, its own PIN, and how it uses the data described in our Privacy Policy.

Player accounts and court bookings

Creating a player account is optional and separate from joining a session. A booked court is a reservation, not a guarantee — like any part of the Service, it can be affected by bugs, downtime, or a club changing its own schedule. A booking can repeat weekly; cancel a single occurrence or the whole series any time before it starts from your account page, and a club can also cancel a booking on your behalf. Joining a waitlist for an already-booked time isn't a reservation either — if a matching slot opens up you'll be emailed once, and whoever books it first still gets it.

The Service is provided by the club, not just to it

A club owner who sets up Sports for their club is responsible for the accuracy of what they configure (courts, levels, schedule, PIN) and for how they communicate these terms and the Privacy Policy to their own players and organisers. We provide the platform; the club runs the session.

Acceptable use

  • Don't submit false names or impersonate another player when joining a session.
  • Don't attempt to guess, brute-force, or share an organiser PIN outside your own club.
  • Don't use the join form, or any other part of the Service, to send automated or bulk submissions.
  • Don't attempt to access another club's data, sessions, or dashboard.

Billing and subscriptions

A club owner may subscribe their club to a monthly or annual plan, billed through Stripe. A newly created or lapsed club gets a grace period before its dashboard becomes read-only; the Organiser console and the public live board are never affected by billing status. Managing or canceling a subscription is done through Stripe's own billing portal, linked from the dashboard's Billing tab.

Separately, a club may bill its own members directly (membership dues, per-visit fees, or other charges) — this is currently a manual record the club keeps itself, not a payment the Service processes or collects on the club's behalf. Any dispute over a member charge is between you and the club, not us.

No warranty, provided "as is"

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Court allocation, notifications, and scheduling are automated and, like any software, can have bugs or downtime. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time — including during an active session.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from its use, including a missed or misallocated court, a delayed notification, or unavailability of the Service during a session.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
